The ACP National Board of Directors has approved the petition of ACP of Ohio to become the Association's 34th national chapter. The Board's Chapter Development Committee Co-Chair David Sayles presented the case on behalf of the new chapter to elevate the group from Emerging Chapter to full Chapter status. "It was impressive to see the way James Knox and his team moved quickly through the process," said Sayles. "They very much wanted to be a part of ACP and, naturally, we are thrilled to have them."

"I want to thank David and James for working together diligently to make ACP of Ohio a reality," said ACP National Chair Scott Ream. "It gives us a valuable presence in Ohio and a better opportunity to serve business continuity professionals and all resilience practitioners on a National level," he added.

James Knox, who spearheaded the Chapter initiative, will serve as its founding President. He is joined on the Executive Committee by Secretary Chris Schmidt Sr. and Treasurer Darren Sliwinski. Knox thanked the National Board for its support and said he "looks forward to continuing to build the Chapter and connecting members with national resources and opportunities.

ACP of Ohio's chapter dues will be $20 in addition to the $100 National dues.
