Liberty Valley Chapter: Jeremy Gudgeon
Jeremy Gudgeon is an untiring ACP member and contributor. He is a hard and smart worker who’s always upbeat. He is the Liberty Valley President at a time when organization memberships are dwindling, making his job especially difficult.

With that in mind, it’s fantastic that he’s so actively engaged with the ACP National Board. We need more Jeremys!!

Jeremy is a CBCP who serves as a Business Continuity Specialist at Vanguard where he's led multiple workstreams in Business Resilience for the last 8 of his 16 years with the company.

He's the President of the Liberty Valley ACP Chapter, Secretary and a Trustee of the Chestnut Hill Community Fund, and a two-year member of the Land Use and Development and Zoning Committee for his neighborhood.

Los Angeles Chapter: David Goldenberg
In a year that has been characterized by uncertainty and obstacles, David has been a constant, reliable, solutions-oriented leader in our chapter. David's role as secretary of our board, and member of the Executive Committee/Council has evolved to include pinch-hitting for countless others as we collectively responded to Covid-19, developing and launching a virtual event series and creating, crystalizing, and executing new strategies to engage our members and our guests. 2020 has been quite a year, and ACP Los Angeles is stronger because of David's leadership, partnership and levity!

CEO, Disaster Avoidance Experts, LLC

Dr. Gleb Tsipursky is an internationally-renowned thought leader in future-proofing and cognitive bias risk management. He serves as the CEO of the boutique future-proofing consultancy Disaster Avoidance Experts, which specializes in helping forward-looking leaders avoid dangerous threats and missed opportunities.
In this engaging, interactive, and entertaining presentation, you as a business continuity professional will dramatically improve your ability to defeat work-from-home (WFH) burnout and Zoom fatigue in the context of COVID and the post-COVID recovery. Unfortunately, the vast majority of efforts to address WFH burnout treat the symptoms without getting at the root causes. These root causes stem from how organizations transitioned to WFH abruptly due to pandemic lockdowns, without adequately preparing their organizational structure, culture, systems, policies, and people for this shift. Organizations adapted our existing ways of interacting in “office culture” to remote work.

This presentation combines case studies, best practices, and groundbreaking research on WFH burnout and Zoom fatigue, to give you and your team the most critical skills and take-aways to needed to defeat these problems.

Learning Objectives
  • Learn about the most common causes of and solutions for WFH burnout and Zoom fatigue
  • Identify where your organization might be using office culture-informed norms to interact in virtual settings
  • Assess how you can use research-based techniques to improve your organization’s culture of virtual work
  • Develop a plan to implement effective techniques to address WFH burnout and Zoom fatigue in your organization

Events have not stopped due to COVID. Natural disasters abound: winter storms with snow and ice; hurricane season is quickly approaching in the northern hemisphere; wildfires continue to rage.

Are you concerned about all the work-from-home staff as it relates to continued operations? What happens if a wide geographic area experiences a power and/or internet outage? Do your Business Continuity plans include strategies for continued operations? Can you shift work to another region? Is there a plan to bring staff back to a facility?

Join ACP for another invigorating discussion on these questions and more!
