ACP National Announcement

I have some exciting news!

Following a comprehensive, national search for your new executive director, I am pleased to introduce you to your new executive director, Isaiah Allen. He will be working closely alongside Dara Rudick, our interim executive director at the ACP National office, and is incredibly energized by the opportunity to serve the ACP community.

Isaiah 1Isaiah’s strengths are with organizations in transition and his passion is for helping associations establish and implement sound culture, effective systems, and sustainable strategies. He joined our association management company, Management HQ (MHQ), three years ago, with a background in nonprofit leadership and a masters degree in divinity.

Isaiah’s official start date as the ACP executive director was September 10. Of course, ACP will make sure there is a smooth transition, and that members have no interruption in service. Dara will work alongside Isaiah to get him up-to-speed on ACP and will participate with him in upcoming meetings. She will also hold ongoing monthly check-in meetings with me.

Over the past nine months, we have built an incredible team to serve ACP in the areas of membership, events management and webinars, marketing communications, chapter relations and financial management. One of the benefits ACP derives from working with MHQ is that when change happens, they support us to make sure we have a smooth transition, and members have no interruption in service. Our ACP team from MHQ will continue their outstanding work on behalf of ACP with our various committees.

In closing, please join me in thanking Dara for her work over the past nine months, and thanking each of our members for their continued support and dedication to our professional family!

With warm regards,

Scott Ream
ACP National Board Chair
