PRESENTATION SYNOPSIS:

Hurricane Ian's devastating impact left an unforgettable mark on communities and landscapes. The destruction to homes, infrastructure, and businesses serves as a stark reminder of the importance of preparedness planning and the need for proactive measures in order to build more resilient communities. 

In this presentation, Logan will dive into lessons learned from Hurricane Ian drawing from firsthand experiences and expert insights. He will explore the process of pre-hurricane preparedness and tips for post-hurricane recovery. By learning from past experiences, we can be better prepared in the face of future natural disasters

ABOUT THE PRESENTER:

Logan York is the Director of Operations at Flood Zone Disaster Recovery Solutions. Logan has been in the property restoration industry for over a decade and has worked dozens of major natural disasters around the country in addition to hundreds of commercial losses. His passion is helping companies conquer disasters and getting them Back in Business.

Logan is a Certified Master Water Restorer, Commercial Drying Specialist, Large Loss Specialist, a Florida and Louisiana Licensed Mold Remediator, and holds numerous additional OSHA and industry certifications. He is active in several trade associations, was a member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Tampa Bay Chapter of the Association of Continuity Professionals (ACP) for several years and has been a presenter at both national conferences and local association meetings. Logan also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Economics from Florida State University.
