Who We Are

For over 40 years, the North Texas Chapter of the Association of Resiliency Professionals (ACP) has brought together leaders and innovators dedicated to strengthening organizational resilience across every industry. ACP National was founded in 1983, ACP is a not-for-profit professional organization that fosters growth, collaboration, and excellence in resiliency, business recovery, and emergency preparedness.

As part of a national network of professionals, our North Texas chapter was the fourth chapter started in the nation in 1986 and proudly represents a vibrant community spanning the entire Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. We’re passionate about sharing knowledge, building connections, and advancing the art and science of resiliency — together.

What We Do

Resiliency isn’t just a plan — it’s a mindset. At ACP North Texas, we provide a dynamic forum for professionals engaged in crisis management, disaster recovery, crisis communications, emergency response, and risk management.

Our members collaborate to exchange insights, explore innovative solutions, and strengthen community partnerships. Through interactive meetings, expert speakers, and peer networking, we empower professionals to mitigate risk, adapt to change, and lead with confidence in a rapidly evolving world.

When We Meet

We gather monthly — typically on the first Tuesday of every month — for engaging presentations, networking, and knowledge sharing (with occasional scheduling adjustments for holidays or guest availability). We encourage in person networking for the meetings, but also recognize that unscheduled meetings come up, so we offer many of our meeting presentations virtually.
