Welcome to the Capital of Texas Chapter of the Association of Continuity Professionals (ACP). ACP is a non-profit professional organization, which provides a forum for for the exchange of experiences and information for business continuity professionals, through a network of local chapters. We welcome anyone throughout public and private sectors interested in furthering their knowledge in the fields of risk.
The Capital of Texas Chapter serves the Austin metropolitan area and beyond. We invite you to attend our next meeting. Check below for information about upcoming meetings and networking events. We look forward to spending time with you in 2024!
As continuity professionals, the last three years have tested our resiliency, and we have made it through. We are finally looking forward to the future as we are moving out of the depths of what seemed like an endless pandemic. This coming year will be about resilience, building on what we have learned about ourselves and our organizations and working to ensure we are prepared to confront whatever challenges come next. Together, we can provide our members with unique education opportunities, valuable information, and invaluable connections to other members of our community.
The Capital of Texas Chapter of ACP has also been affected by the pandemic. Our membership has dropped, and in order for this Chapter to survive, we need to increase our numbers. The new Board of Directors will be focusing on recruiting new members by offering networking opportunities, educational events, and in-person meetings. If you are interested in joining ACP and/or serving on the Board, feel free to reach out to me at capitaloftexas@acp-international.com or connect with me on LinkedIn.
I hope to see everyone in-person soon. Until then, stay safe and take care.
Mark your calendars!
