Topic:  Sudden loss of a job can be nothing short of traumatic.
Sudden job loss can occur when you are terminated or laid off, when you resign because you feel you have no choice, or when you are burned out and choose to leave. Regardless of the reason, the sudden loss of a job can be nothing short of traumatic. It is a personal and professional crisis that must be managed. Margaret M. will discuss the events, examine her journey, provide perspectives, and share lessons learned. Students can also share their experiences with the class.

Margaret has been a successful global business continuity planner, responder, manager, and executive for more than 30 years.  She is the recipient of the 2023 Business Continuity Institute Lifetime Achievement Award. Margaret has worked for IT and Financial Services Fortune 300 companies in Ireland and the United States. She has held board levels positions with business continuity organizations, written publications and spoken at conferences around the globe. .
