Emergency Management Fellow

Primary Duties:

• Expand knowledge by researching specific emergency management themes, business continuity, training, exercises, and new trends. Incorporate these themes in new programs and communications.
  
• Assist in the development of policies, procedures, and training utilizing ideas from planning committees, exercise planning teams, and development of after-action reports from events.
  
• Assist in the development of incorporating and implementing various emergency management themes for the University.
  
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Internship Program

GDIT’s internship is a 10-week paid opportunity. The GDIT Summer Internship allows students the opportunity to be a part of a collaborative team that helps solve our client’s most complex issues. As an intern, students will have real responsibilities and work alongside experienced and innovative industry professionals. The GDIT internship experience will equip students with best-in-class skills to take back to the classroom!

To qualify for a summer internship with GDIT candidates must be enrolled fulltime at a United States accredited college or university during the summer internship program. Students should have at least 1 semester of study remaining after the 10-week program ends in August. Internship opportunities are typically posted August-October.
