    Our BC Planning software does pull in all employees for a particular department however the plan itself does not designate specific people for recovery/workaround processes as we do not want to have it limited to specific individuals. We encourage our departments to ensure they cross train and all employees within the department/business unit are aware of the BC plan and the recovery procedures.

    Hello, 

    We list the minimum number of employees needed to continue the process during a disaster/outage. Most incidents are tech related so you will have your full staff available but in a loss of resources (people) this minimum is good to know. We also ensure the lines of business have the ability to pull cross trained employees from other departments if resources are low.

    Trying to understand what folks add to their plans around employees. Are all employees entered that support a business process / plan or just those who are essential to the recovery of the  business process during an event?

    Sorry if this is too small of a question.
