The Greater Tampa Bay Chapter of the Association of Continuity Professionals (GTBACP) is proud to launch the Steve Elliot Memorial Scholarship, honoring the life, legacy, and service of Steve Elliot (1954–2020). Steve was a longtime leader in our profession, serving for many years on the ACP National Board and as the GTBACP Chapter President for countless years, where his dedication and leadership helped build and strengthen our chapter.

This annual scholarship will support students pursuing careers in Business Continuity and organizational resilience. Eligible applicants will include full-time students enrolled in degree programs such as Business Continuity, Risk Management, Cybersecurity, Emergency Management, and related disciplines at accredited Florida universities.

Applications will open in Late January/Early February 2026, with a deadline for submission on March 25thm 2026.  The selected recipient(s) will be recognized during our April 29th GTBACP Chapter meeting. We look forward to supporting the next generation of resilience professionals in Steve’s honor.

We are also seeking volunteers to serve on the Scholarship Committee.
